Eric Peraro rejoined the Community Social Services Employers Association (CSSEA) in December 2011 as Director of Research and Knowledge Management department. His team’s responsibilities include providing labour market and compensation data, analysis and costing support during collective bargaining, the joint job evaluation program (JJEP), information technology infrastructure and data systems. He previously held the role of Compensation and Benefits Coordinator at CSSEA from 2000 to 2003, in which he led the Employers’ team that developed the Community Social Services Joint Job Evaluation system and provincial wage schedule. Before rejoining CSSEA, he was the Director of Research and Knowledge Management for six years at Health Employers’ Association of BC (HEABC). Prior to holding the position of Director, he was a Senior Physician Compensation Consultant at HEABC. Eric has significant experience with public sector bargaining, having been a member of the BC Government Physician Negotiations Team and various other bargaining teams for health care workers in HEABC. Before moving to Canada, Eric was the Compensation Manager for Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines Inc. (CCBPI). Prior to joining Coca Cola, he worked for ten years in the telecommunication industry doing job evaluations, organization studies, business process reengineering and manpower planning. Eric holds a degree in B.S. Industrial Management Engineering. |

During her time at CSSEA Pauline has held numerous roles including Administrative Assistant to the Director of Finance and today, is the Finance and Payroll Administrator. Originally from England, Pauline moved to Vancouver in 1980 and has lived here ever since with her two sons and two dogs. |

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia and is completing a Masters of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University. As part of the degree requirements, David worked as a Research/Policy Analyst for the BC Ministry of Health, where he supported program monitoring of the hospital sector. |

Karen has also worked for CSSEA’s Human Resources and Labour Relations and Corporate Services Departments in various advancing roles. Prior to joining CSSEA Karen worked for various health and science organizations coordinating database development and deployment. In her free time Karen motivates others to be healthy and active by teaching dance classes and leading a ballet boot camp. |
Cecilia PianoAccountant, Finance and Payroll Administrator |
Cecilia joined CSSEA in January 2025. Prior to joining CSSEA, she served as the Manager of Finance and Administration at the Vancouver Public Library Foundation. She also worked as the Associate Director of Finance and Accounting Services at Developmental Disabilities Association and held positions at Vancouver Community College and Langara College. Cecilia holds a CPA, CGA, and an MBA. |

He holds a Hotel and Resort Management degree from Thompson Rivers University and a Liberal Arts Diploma from the University of the Fraser Valley. Prior to joining CSSEA, David worked in the hospitality industry for over 14 years in a variety of locations and capacities. Before returning to Vancouver David enjoyed living in Whistler, Victoria and Banff. |
